30-day challenge: Take your dog to 30 places (friend’s apartment)

For day five of my 30-day challenge to take my dog to 30 new places, Ace tagged along on a trip to Wahpeton, N.D., to visit some friends. This was a perfect challenge for him because he had to be in the car for 45 minutes and then try to behave around three people and two other dogs that he knows. Of course, all he wanted to do was play! But Ace was fairly good. He wore his Gentle Leader for the first few minutes and stayed by me most of the time. He did some whining, but I did not let him get up and play until he had been quiet for awhile first.
