I would like to do a new 30-day challenge that others are interested in reading about or participating in. Just leave a comment with your ideas.
Hmmm how about 5 tricks in 30 days (with video)
4. Roll Over

I really like the idea of another 30 day challenge! I think it might help me keep on track with my motivation to teach Penny some new tricks and some distance work on the old ones. I just got a new book “Learning Games” and I bet I could incorporate some of them nicely into a daily schedule. Thanks!

I like the first idea with 5 tricks in 30 days. It may be best to do one at a time though so he doesn’t lose focus.

Well maybe I’ll have to do a challenge where I teach Ace five new tricks in 30 days. I will have to think of five. He doesn’t know play dead (Bang!) or roll over. I also want to teach him to put his toys in a bucket. Lora, what did you mean by teaching “touch”?
Not sure if its what Lora meant but in puppy school the ‘touch’ comand was used to put the pups nose to your hand.
This can later be transferred to teaching them to ‘touch’ (with their nose) doorbells, switches, quiet blanket, well anything imaginable I guess … It can also, well one girl used it, to help with heeling… I was having enough trouble with Chels sitting at the time…lol
Bell and I had a long walk with the Dane today after a week of none & boy didnt she let us know… so Im going to repeat the walking challenge come 1July…just to get back the discipline
