My dog running business is officially launched with a new web site, Run That Mutt. If you are looking into starting a similar business, check out my post on how to start a dog walking business.
I can’t stress enough the importance of exercising your dog. From the day I adopted Ace, I began taking him on daily long runs. His behavior quickly improved because he had less pent-up energy. In a short amount of time, he whined less, he could be trusted home alone without being left in a crate and he responded better to obedience. He is just a happier dog now that he gets enough exercise. And on days when he doesn’t get a run or long walk, I notice a big difference!
I started Run That Mutt to provide a way for Fargo dogs to get more exercise when their owners are unable to provide it. Busy people love and own dogs, as do people who are physically unable to run. Providing a running service is just one way I can help dogs and their owners. I simply run dogs when their owners can’t.
Let me know if you are in the Fargo-Moorhead area and could use a dog runner!
Above is the business card I had made today. The card was designed by Jason at Spllogics Designs. And Josh at Unconventional Marketing set up the web site. I think both turned out great!

Girl, your going to be fine at this, I could think of no-one more I would love to run Chels. Theres a group you didnt think of who would benifit, shift workers who have dogs, nurses, taxidrivers, bakers. Chels would so benefit from the exercise and the social aspect of trusting another…Now Im sure youve got it all covered but dont forget insurance…I hear its hectic in the US
