Right now I live with Keeda the dog and Ergo the cockatiel and that’s already too much for me! I love animals but with my job if I got any more pets I simply wouldn’t have time to give them all the attention they deserve. I’m already struggling in that aspect :S

Im thinking two teenage Danes and a MalteseXShiztu are going to be enough for this girl to handle. I think as long as you can feed, train, nurture, medical etc theres no set number, some shouldnt have one dog, others can handle six…

Im not a cat person, I dont think they should be in Australia at all, they have decimated our natural fauna…Odd my son grew up to be a cat person…lol

I’m thinking three dogs is where I’d like to be. However I’ve been thinking that the position for dog number three could be for foster dogs. This of course would take place if we ever move to a bigger house.

If I wasn’t allergic to cats we would SOOOO have a cat by now.

Yes I think 3 is the magic number.

One Biggie biomass is enough for us!

We did have 2 dogs and a cat once – a German Shepherd, an American Eskimo, and a FIERCE long-hair tabby. Because of their ages and how they were raised (two belonged to my sister), the GSD dominated the Eskie who dominated the cat who dominated the GSD. Our animals were perfectly balanced.

We have four cats (down one from five since Luna found a new home). I had three and Mike had two when we combined our houses! Five is definitely enough – in fact, I’d say three is probably my magic number.

Three of ours are the same age – 7. I’m afraid we may have a couple of tough years as they all get old at the same time! (Oscar is our oldest – he is 11 and his age is starting to show.)

Well, we did have FOUR cats until our baby Inso passed (sniff, sniff). Now we have three and we also care for a feral colony (which we have had fixed and given shots to). Now, we have a new very large addition to the family that everyone will hear about soon enough. I’m not for hoarding, but I believe animals enrich your life and you should have what you can care for responsibly
