My Gus had the same happen to him and he spent over a year (maybe two) back and forth at the Norco, Ca. shelter. Most dogs like Sasha and Gustav need a "pack leader" and structure in their lives and they are fine. Before I get on a tangent I will stop... That is so sad that she was in so many homes.
