We don’t have any dog parks nearby, so I walk the dogs around the school grounds on off hours. Based on what I’ve just read, it’s a good thing I don’t take them to dog parks – sounds crazy there. I couldn’t tolerate someone squirting or kicking my dogs that’s for sure – could get ugly. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Since I’ve mentioned this to a few others they have told me even more crazy stories! Ouch!

I wont let my dogs drink out of community bowls because I am afraid of giardia. It always amazes me how some people have NO clue and force you to contend with their “views”

Yeah, you know what they say…ignorance is bliss…it is just that the rest of us have to suffer!

A Dog owner who doesn’t want to touch a ball their Dog plays with. Gotta feel bad for the guys home life.(have Dog-get dirty).

Speaking of bad owners. When we lived in the UK an owner let his Dog off the lead in a park and it attacked our old boy. When I gave him hell he was of the opinion “Hey, just let them fight it out and whoever wins their Dog gets to be off lead”
Needless to say I was none too impressed. It amazes me the attitude some animal owners have.

Unfortunately many dog parks are not all that great. Our dog park, my favorite anyway, is a long trail where we keep moving with the dogs. It’s great and I wish we could go there more often.

I don’t like the small fenced in square dog parks and usually avoid them, unless I have Muffit or Tatum with, they are my only dogs that can tolerate those parks.
