Very good point. I like Ty's approach and Cesar's (and I know you don't.) But I agree that many people misunderstand the leadership concept and unintentionally or intentionally abuse, confuse, frighten or make problems worse for their dogs.

Hmmm I'll have to check it out. If it's more like Cesar Milan, then I probably won't like it. Strong leadership is a good thing, but can be done wrongly with the wrong people and dogs.

Good luck Ty!

Bonnie, I love rottweilers too. I'd like to have one some day. Many if not all of the protection dogs Ty trains through Protege K9 are European-bred. I assume it's because of the reasons you mentioned.

The show sounds cool! What a handsome dog. I just love Rotties. Rocco reminds me of a great Rott I knew named Kreutz. He was a great dog and healthy as heck. German-bred. I think Americans have kinda ruined Rotts. Many US-bred dogs are too big and not very handy any more. Wish I could find (and afford!) a really good one. Anyway, thanks for showing that bog ol' Rottie smile! Wish I could see the wiggle-butt move when he's really happy!!
