I am going to try for 50 miles this month, and up it to 100 by May when that blasted snow should be all gone. Our trials have been so icy that we haven’t been walking so much because I don’t want to fall down. This winter the mud will be welcome.

Hey Kari, if you do 50 miles that would be great!

Three Dog, when I let Ace run off leash he probably goes twice as far as me from running around like crazy. I should strap the GPS watch to him and see how far he goes.

Apryl, I’m excited that you and Gus are up for the challenge.

Well, I don’t count but I guess we probably do about that.

You can probably triple the distance we walk them because they are always running around like loons outside all day as well.

When they are not inside either sleeping or stinking up the place that is!

I am going to be a bit more conservative and aim for 50! I’m sad to say that wold be a big improvement from what we are doing now… You guys are a big inspiration!

I will do 100 starting in late May. Right now I can not get around as much as I would like because of ice and the amount of dogs we are fostering. When it is warmer, I will start getting them all exercised more. I have lung troubles and the cold air really hurts. My dogs would love you guys!!!!

That sounds like a great idea! I’m going to see if we can get 100 from Gussie. He goes hiking with us quite often and gets walked a few miles each day otherwise so we’ll see if we can do it. He can definitely use the exercise!
