Generally the rescue does not adopt dogs out to families who will not allow the dogs to live in the house as a member of the family. In my opinion, a farm life would be ideal for Stormy. She is an active, smart dog who needs stimulation. If that's the kind of life you can give her, that would be awesome. However, if she is going to just be outside penned up most of the time, she would be miserable. She does get hot easily but her thick black coat will be beneficial when it gets cold. The other family on place want to find a dog that we can share and care for. Would Stormy be ok in a nice new dog house outside and just in house when weather is severe?
