Pet care education

Browse through the articles on PetCareEducation.com, and you will find concise information about how to take care of a dog. Not only that, but you will find valuable information about care for cats, hamsters, birds and fish.

Dog care topics on PetCareEducation.com range from dog training to dog nutrition to caring for a specific breed. It’s convenient to have so much information all in one spot.

Although I wish many of the dog topics went into further depth, the site is ideal for a new dog owner looking for instant, reliable answers. It’s also a good resource for someone considering a new kind of pet. Anyone adopting a hamster, fish or bird should definitely check out this site. I was highly impressed by PetCareEducation.com’s information on the different hamster breeds. I just wish there were more photos!

As the owner of two Jack Russell terriers (pictured), a cat and an albino red tail boa, Sean Green wanted to create a site that would connect people with accurate, well-researched information to make life better for all kinds of pets.

“I first got the idea to start PetCareEducation.com when I found that there was a large amount of low-quality information about pet care, written simply to improve site ranking,” Sean said.

Focusing on providing information rather than making a profit, Sean launched PetCareEducation.com in June 2009. Since then, he has been working to expand the site’s focus to as many aspects of pet care as possible. He values his ability to provide helpful tips, useful information and a personal approach to proper pet care.

One of the popular dog-related articles on PetCareEducation.com is “Clicker training your dog,” since many trainers have cited it as a highly effective training method, Sean said.

Another popular article includes “grain-free dog food” because more and more people are looking for healthier food for their dogs. Readers may also click on topics such as homemade dog food, cooked or raw dog food and picking the right dog food.

For those adopting a dog in the near future, PetCareEducation.com goes through all the important information someone needs to know before bringing home a dog. Readers can find specific topics such as housetraining a puppy, crate training a dog and leash training a dog.

It’s easy to navigate through PetCareEducation.com because it has a consistent, clean layout with nice photos and well-organized categories. So much information can be overwhelming to someone new to the site, so Sean recommends new readers start by choosing a category that interests them such as “birds.” Each category is divided into subcategories such as “bird species” and “lovebird care.”

PetCareEducation.com focuses on animals in general, but also on the different breeds such as Yorkshire terriers because many breeds require unique care. The breed articles focus on the different temperaments and grooming requirements of each breed. They also go into details on the breed’s history and appearance. I enjoyed reading about the different breeds of cats.

Each of Sean’s articles include a place for readers to leave comments, feedback and questions. So, if you have a question about pet care or are looking for more information on a specific kind of pet, head over to PetCareEducation.com to see what Sean has to say.

Are you adopting a new pet in the near future? What information would you like to know about that pet?

I am considering getting another dog. This one has been living as an ouside dog, but I would have her indoors. I am concerend about training a dog that has been used to being outside all the time. I will check this site to see if there are any good tips.

We always talk about getting another silly dog but I think Gus would be very jealous. When I pet the old cat he comes over and makes sure that he gets attention as well. He’s fine with other dogs but his feelings get hurt since he wants to be the center of attention. Poor baby.
