Sometimes I help out at the weekend adoption events for a local dog adoption group called Labs & More Rescue.
I go to the events, held in a parking lot of a sporting-apparel store, and hold the leash of one of the dogs for adoption.
On Saturday, I was paired up with this dog named Rocko.
He didn’t get adopted, but a lot of people admired how cute and friendly he is and commented on his soft, chocolate fur.
Rocko didn’t have a foster home as of Saturday, so he’s been staying at one of the local boarding facilities until he either gets adopted or someone volunteers to foster him.

Rocko is up for adoption with Labs & More in San Diego. He is a 2-year-old Lab mix who seems pretty good with dogs and very sweet and affectionate with all people.
Rocko will sit for treats and takes them very gently from your hand. He loves to sit close and also seems to like belly rubs and cuddles.
