Aww, the non-swimming dog

So here you have a group of mostly Labs swimming in a pool at some kind of dog pool party. And then there’s this one dog who apparently loves the water too, but she doesn’t swim.

Some of the comments on the video were negative, saying the dog looks concerned and could be unsafe in the water. She seems somewhat relaxed to me.

What do you think?

    Somebody missed the swimming gene

Maybe this dog is smarter than the others and learned how to conserve energy

I think its cute how she is standing there. I really want a dog swimming pool.

LOL – She looks a maybe little uncomfortable but it looks more like a “Eh? This is supposed to be fun…I don’t get it” type of uncomfortable.

My dog doesn’t “know” how to dog paddle with her hind legs either, she paddles with the front and shakes her butt propellor-style instead of kicking her hind legs.

Hilarious! She looks more interested in what is going on around her than actually joining in the action. I find it funny that she’s walking on her back paws to get around, it seems like she’s doing it just because she can.

Yeah it does seem like she’s doing it just because she can.

That is so hilarious. I love it, what a smart, resourceful dog to just stand on two legs! I think he looks fine, I think I saw his tail wag under water a few times (maybe as a rudder though?!).
