Belle the lab mix

Belle caught my attention because she looks just like my mutt Ace! Could this be his little sister? Believe me, if now were the right time for me to adopt a second dog, this girl would have a home! Belle gets along great with other dogs and is up for adoption with the Marshmellow Foundation in Detroit Lakes, Minn. Check out her profile for more info about sweet Belle.

Sasha the German shepherd mix

Sasha was the first rescue dog I began running on a regular basis after I started my dog running business, and I absolutely love her. If the time were right for me, I would’ve adopted her by now.

Sasha is so eager to learn and loves treats! She is an easy dog to bond with because she really does love everyone. Sasha recently learned some manners at a boarding kennel she was staying at. She sits and lies down on command very well. She also heels nicely. Good girl! She has met my mutt Ace and the two of them walked very nicely together.

Unfortunately, Sasha has had some bad luck with finding her permanent home because she has shown dog aggression at times. This is unfortunate because she is so loving and loyal to people and has so much affection to give. She lives in a foster home now and she loves when people come over to visit! All Sasha needs is her very own home with someone committed to training and exercising her.

Klaus the American pit bull terrier mix

Klaus is up for adoption with 4 Luv of Dog Rescue in Fargo. He has gone on dozens of runs with me, and his leash manners have improved over the last few months. He is a smart dog and would thrive with obedience training and more socialization. Kalus and Ace are good friends and they enjoy running and playing fetch and tug together. Klaus gets along with more submissive dogs but does show leash aggression.

Vixen the Akita/pitbull mix

Vixen is a gorgeous pitbull/Akita mix up for adoption with 4 Luv of Dog Rescue in Fargo. She is a very unique looking dog. She doesn’t always get along with other dogs, but she loves people. She also does just fine around cats (she’s a little shy around them at first). Vixen knows some basic obedience such as sit. Her foster owner reports that she is kind of lazy and loves to hang out in the house.
