We have a cat that just turned up a few years ago when it was only about 4 weeks old. It managed to hold on and is now a total obsession for two of our dogs. Daisy for over a year now goes into a wiggly frenzy every time she sees it (which is every day)!

My cats bat Ace in the face but they have never used their claws on him. Just slapping him in the face is enough of a warning for him! One time Beamer did hook Ace’s lip by accident, though, so I can see why you’d worry about your dog’s eyes. There’s always the option of adopting a cat that is already declawed.
