Ace’s big day

Ace here!

Last Friday was a big day for me. You see, that was the day Josh officially became my real dad!

I’m here to tell you how it went down:

First of all, I was sooo excited because so many of my favorite people were there for my big day!

My mom was so embarrassed because people kept commenting on how “vocal” I was, but I just couldn’t help it. I was that excited!

I got to see these two:

And these three:

And this one:

During the ceremony – when Josh became my real dad – I was pretty nervous because I thought I should get to stand right next to my mom and my new real dad. After all, that’s what we were celebrating, right?

Uncle Peter might’ve even had to lead me back a few yards so I would lie quietly and eat some grass. He’s a pretty nice uncle.

And in order for Josh to become my real dad, he also had to accept this one:

Tabby cat with pink toy

And my mom had to accept this one:

I think she got the short end of the stick on that deal, but I know she did it for me.

All in all, I had to go through a lot of work in order for Josh to become my real dad.

I had to sit really still and pretend to be a statue – all I really wanted to do was sing duets with Uncle Justin.

I had to supervise the hoomans while they played ladder golf.

I even had to resist sampling the cake that was right at my eye level!

I guess it was worth it. My mom is pretty happy, too.

And for those of you crazies who just can’t get enough of my mom and my new real dad, there’s a nice video at the very bottom (thank you, Tawna).

June 2018 update: Ace has passed away.
