These dogs love the snow! Well, mostly (35 photos)

Here in Southern California we don’t get to participate in all the fun in the snow some of you are having.

I needed a snow fix, and it looks like most of these dogs are having a blast.

How about your dog? Does he or she loves the snow or hate the snow? Ace is a North Dakota dog, so he loves the snow, but he can’t handle much cold. But don’t ask him to wear his vest or booties!

It never snows here but we used to take our dogs up to the mountains. When the first foot touched snow they were back in the car for the rest of the day giving us very dirty looks.

#2 looks like he's turning into some sort of elemental! I don't think my dog has ever been to the snow. He had a whole year of mystery before we found him, though. My husband and I tried taking him to Big Bear a few weeks back, but we ran into some complications ("but the web site said we didn't need snow chains!") and then more complications ("How do you put snow chains on? You drive over them, right?") and ended up being sent back down the mountain in shame. Over-all I think Hiccup's opinion of the excursion was something along the lines of, "Why did we drive for over an hour just so I could pee in front of a Wal-Mart in the rain?"

I would have no idea how to put snow chains on either :) I'm used to snow, but on flat ground.
