These are the best photos featured on my blog from 2008. There was no formal voting or traffic stats like I used to select the top posts on That Mutt. Instead, I picked these photos myself. It’s my blog, I can do that. My favorite is the top photo of Ace wearing his dog backpack in Itasca State Park.
My boyfriend Josh got me a Canon PowerShot SD790 IS for Christmas. It is a big upgrade from what I used all year, so I hope to take much better and more pictures in 2009. From now on, all the photos on my blog will be taken by me, with the exception of submitted photos from readers. If you have a photo you’d like me to use, send it to Lindsay@thatmutt.com.
I hope you enjoy my photos, and thank you for supporting my blog. I can’t wait to see what 2009 brings.

Hard to pick a favorite here…I guess I’m partial to Ace looking over the mountain actually wearing his pack like a good boy. A certain lazy dog I know is still getting accustomed to his and will simply stop walking. I do see the humor in my big, lazy guy!

Great pictures for sure! I look forward to seeing what you do with your new Christmas present!
I like the close up of Ace’s face – lying on the red blanket best!
Happy New Year!

The more I look at them, the harder it is to pick favorites – good choices. I love the pic of Scout. Your new pics should be really cool – you need to take a really good trip with some awesome scenery to get some good shots. You know, like to somewhere warm like SoCal!

I didn’t know the Dakotas could be so beautiful. I always thought they were mythical as I’d never actually met someone from there but it’s nice to see they exist

Very nice and familiar looking area. Looks very similar to some of my favorite hiking spots in the Gila National Forest.

[...] Backpacks seem to be very popular. Lindsay the author of thatmutt.com has some great photos of her Dog Ace wearing a Backpack. He looks really noble and sure looks like a Doggie on a mission. [...]
