Ace got to tag along on a date with Josh and I for day 26 of our challenge. We went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner with outdoor tables. Ace wore his Gentle Leader and stayed at my side calmly the whole time. As you can see, he pretty much decided to stretch out and claim the entire sidewalk. I have no idea why he was so calm, because there were people and cars going by. I guess it’s because he was wearing his leader and I kept him on a short leash. Ha. I was glad he didn’t cry at all, like he’s known to do.

What a cute post, Ace did great and it looks like a pleasant time was had by all. Good training there!
I had this little “a-ha” moment just now looking at Ace’s bright eye in the last shot and he totally reminded me of another dog. That dog, “Bullet”, was part yellow Lab and part Weimeraner, dark gunmetal-gold color, big dog. I think if you had a mix of black Lab and Weim, it could look awfully close to Ace-face! He looks kinda like Bullet in the header picture of him at the shoreline. Since you just mentioned about Great Danes and mixes, thought I’d throw that in.

I don’t think I’ll ever know what Ace is mixed with, Bonnie. Sometimes I also think he looks like a weimeraner.
