15 reasons why we love Dobermans

I love Dobermans.

The Dobie is one of my favorite breeds. I’ve never had one as my own pet, so I’m not sure if I would be able to provide a Doberman with enough exercise. Then again, it would be a good challenge for me. For those of you with Dobies, how much exercise do your pups need each day?

Keep sending your dog photos to Lindsay@ThatMutt.com to see your dogs featured on the blog. You can also upload them to That Mutt’s Facebook page. Thank you to everyone who has submitted photos so far.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I’m with you on the treats, in fact I’m thinking of doing an entire post directed to sponsors/advertisers. It should be a good way to make sure I’m never approached again. LOL

So if you don’t have Dobies where do all the photos come from? Are they your friends dogs? Or random dogs you meet? LOL

Six are my own photos (I have a pet sitting/dog running biz). The rest are either submitted to me or from Pinterest.

Thank you for the photos and reasons to love dobes. I have a 3 year old black/brown female that I took over from my son when she was one. She was a wild child until I got some good training and eventually learned about being the leader. Finally I enjoy running and walking with her, but I still must watch around bikes etc. and I’m still learning! For indoors, I try to keep her busy learning tricks; and she’s so smart. I get great ideas and info from your site, and thanks for that. I never would have thought to pick a dobe, but I’ve come to love her. She’s cuddling with her head in my lap. :)

Aww, so cute. I’m glad everything is going well with her. Sounds like she has been a good challenge, but it’s usually well worth it.

Cute! I love the ones with their full ears and tails. I’ve never had a purebred Dobie but I’ve had a Dobie mix. Maya met a pair of Dobies at the Responsible Pet Owner’s Day event and was very intimidated by them even though they didn’t do anything to her. They were a bit standoffish with me and other dogs, but they weren’t aggressive.

I bet Maya could sense something about them not being interested in playing.
