Yup good points! Gus looks like a sweetheart. I have smooth collies, and I get a ton of comments. They are quite rare. Heck, rough collies are quite rare anymore, but everyone knows what a rough collie is.

Most people think my smooth blues are crosses between Aussies and Greyhounds. Nope! They are a registered official breed my smoothies! But I LOVE having rare breeds. It’s one of the reasons I prefer the smooths over the roughs.

I tend to be the kind of person who will go up to people with their dogs. I talk to the dog more than the people! :)

I recall once going up to a group sitting at a patio restaurant table. They had a gorgeous brindle pit with them – she was very sweet and I wanted to pet her – I made sure to ask first of course! The humans were quite surprised – they told me that no one ever wanted to pet her because she was a pit and therefore “scary”! I’m glad I took the time – I made their day and got to pet a very sweet dog! :)

I’d have a hard time if I had a dog though – I’m not highly social when it comes to talking to people. I’m sure people approaching me might be difficult!!

Oh! And Gus is awesome by the way!! I’d for sure have to come up and pet him if I saw you all! :)

Yeah – I actually get a lot of folks that don’t want to talk to me so much. They want to talk to Gus, which I am just fine with. He gets sad when people don’t come up to him. I also love to talk to pits – they are usually always soooo sweet!

Thanks for letting me post more on the adventures of Mr. Gustav, Lindsay!

People often stop and ask me what kind of dog Ace is. It’s funny how friendly people are when there is a dog involved. When I’m at a rugby game and someone brings a dog, I always have to go up and ask if I can pet it.

    Gus is so cute!

BARK! Mommy and daddy walk us at a big school that has lots of peoples away from home and their own doggies. They always ask if they can pet us, and we are glad to oblige! BARK! Sasha the Princess

Well having Chels means Im going to be stopped. There are so few Danes here. If Im in a hurry I leave my daughter with Chels talking and I run to the shops…

Having her has also made me more out going so I like that aspect of it… must admit there are very few bloodhounds here too, so you would be a novelty as well :)
