Good news! I’m happy to hear that this cutie found a forever home!

You do such good work by fostering. I do hope I’m in a place at some point in the future where I can do the same!

Our local shelter was in danger of closing, but the voters in our area passed a bill to save it on election day this year! I was so happy I got registered in time to vote! For now, That is my contribution, but I’d love to volunteer/donate in the future!

    What a beautiful dog.

I’ve found that many people are turned off by seeing dogs in cages at the pound (and they often seem more like pounds than shelters), but can relate to dogs who have lived with humans who can tell their stories for them.

I hope you have many more success stories.

Thank God there are people like you that foster and adopt dogs. In my pet sitting business, we get many dogs that were adopted and each come with a different story. Some stories aren’t so good, but I’m so thankful that they have a new home that will love them forever.

What a great post! I have 7 indoor cats presently and care for up to 5 feral cats outside. I have not had a dog in my life for about 7 years now but recently began to miss that level of companionship. I keep going back and forth in my mind about it but your post on fostering really touched me. I think this would be a great idea for me and I love where you say you love the “temporary thrill of acquiring something new”! That sounds like me all over! I thank you for giving me something else to think about when I think I would like a dog again. Thanks again.
